Republic Day Celebration in Bengaluru

City is now gearing for the Republic Day celebration at the Parade Ground.  With the IB updating about more terror strike in India.  Bangalore police has already made all arrangement for the security for this year celebration of Republic Day.

Event Details

The event is going to take place at the Parade Ground at Field Marshal Manekshaw with Governor HR Bharadwaj will receive the salute from City Traffic Police for the arrangement.  All the event will take place at Parade Grounds.

HR Bharadawaj will be in the Parade Ground at 9:00 am.

Do & Donts while attending the Event:

1) People should not carry any kind equipment to the ground. (Camera, mobile phone, handbags etc)

2) People need to in the ground before 8:30 am , after which they will not be allowed.

Keeping in view with the Security Concerns

  • There about 1800+ police personnel deployed for this event.
  • We have some additional DCP, ACP and Police Inspectors deployed for this event.
  • Parade Ground is fully equipped with CCTV camera all around with a close watch.
  • Many CAR (City Armed Reserve) and KSRP (Local state reserve police) have also been deployed nand will be present at the venue.
  • Fire and ambulance service are also made available in case of emergency
